Administrative: We are looking for a master multi-tasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude. Candidates should be able to assist management and all visitors to the company by handling office tasks, providing polite and professional assistance via phone, mail, and e-mail, making reservations or travel arrangements, and generally being a helpful and positive presence in the workplace.

Carpentry/Handy-Man Skills: We are on the hunt for a skilled and reliable Handyman to join our maintenance department. You will be responsible for all upkeep and repair duties including maintaining green spaces, identifying the need for repairs, responding to clients’ maintenance requests, and servicing company equipment.

Computer Skills and Record Keeping: Records managers oversee an organisation’s records from their creation and preservation through to disposal. Provide efficient record management systems, secure records, upload paper documents to electronic record keeping, and ensure that records are easily accessible. 

​

Youth Program Educator: To provide supervision and lead a quality structured children’s programming. These programs will be to educate youth and the community on conservation for WA state wildlife. Teach about the importance of wildlife conservation and importance of species in local habitats. 

​

Gardener: We are in need of volunteers to maintain and develop our facility garden and outdoor lounge area. Duties would include pulling weeds, planting new items, watering, harvesting and overall care of the landscape. This job can be laborious but it does not need to be completed in one go. This will be an ongoing project that will need consistent effort. 

​

Grant Writing/Fundraising: Prepare proposals by determining concept, gathering and formatting information, writing drafts and obtaining approvals. Coordinates requirements with contributors and contributes proposal status information for review from board. Prepare presentation by evaluating test, graphics, and binding and coordinating printing.  

​

Kitchen Support: We need helpers to keep our kitchen clean and running smoothly. Daily tasks would include washing and sanitizing dishes, utensils and more. Another task would be to organize and maintain kitchen supplies. 

​

Kitten Care Attendant: Feed and care for the center’s cats. Clean and disinfect the kennels and maintain health standards.  Many cats that come to us have not been shown proper love from humans. We need volunteers to show love to these “feral” cats/kittens by working with them consistently. Follow procedures to keep animals comfortable in the center.

​

Public Education: Responsible for identifying educational needs in a particular area (TNR, kitten care, wildlife rehabilitation) and developing appropriate recreational, educational and training programs in response to these. Establish new community initiatives and write out thorough program plans.

Researching Wildlife (Natural history, Data Analysis): Interpret data and turn it into information which can offer ways to improve business. Data Analysts gather information from various sources and interpret patterns and trends. Define new data collection and analysis processes.

Volunteer Coordinator/Management: Looking for a detailed-oriented and focused volunteer coordinator to be responsible for our database of volunteers and volunteer opportunities. Responsibilities include recruiting and training new volunteers, keeping a database of volunteer information and skills, matching volunteers to opportunities that suit their skills, keeping volunteers informed, and conveying the organization’s purpose to the public.

Social Media and Website Developer: Responsible for planning, implementing, managing and monitoring the company's Social Media strategy in order to increase brand awareness, improve Marketing efforts and increase fundraising. 

​

Video Editor: Position needed to help develop public service announcements to educate the public about topics such as raptor starvation, light pollution and more.
